Question by : Why is my Samsung LCD 40 inch tv herky-jerky?
I bought a Samsung 40 inch LCD tv at the store and the picture there looked terrific. At home, some of the shows have a herky-jerky motion when the characters walk or turn their heads. And it seems like the camera pans awkwardly. I watched tv for about 15 minutes and felt a little motion sick. Unfortunately I bought the tv at Ultimate Electronics, which is going out of business. Is there anything I can do about the tv, like send it back to Samsung? And has anyone else had this problem with the same tv or a different tv?

My little brother and sister were playing catch in my room i don’t even know why! They are not even suppose to go in there but like i was saying how much would it be? I dont have any money with this economical crisis. The Tv has a black roundish-square tint and has green, yellow, red, purple, blue lines going vertically in other words going up.
Please help me

if its still under warranty you could try to replacae it o

If yes, with what kind of adaptors will they work ? Shipping charges is not an issue. That would be taken care off by the company.

They will work, but you will need to make sure you plug it into a European outlet adapter. You can pick them up anywhere, (Wal Mart, Target, Airports, CVS, etc…). They usually cost anywhere from $ 10 – $ 30, depending on the model and number of connections it supports.

I’m buying a 40-inch Samsung LCD tv next week but noticed that the Contrast Ratio was kind of on the low end. It has a 40,000:1 contrast ratio. Is this GOOD ENOUGH for a 40-inch size???

It is fine. Contrast ratio specs are generally meaningless unless you are comparing within a single brand because there is no universal agreed upon method for measuring this specification.
