How can I fix the color spill in a 60 inch Panasonic LCD Projection TV.?

Question by pt01915: How can I fix the color spill in a 60 inch Panasonic LCD Projection TV.?
My tv looks somewhat like a lava lamp. There are blotches of blue that constantly change in shape and position on my screen. If my TV is displaying a blue still image it will also burn into the screen for about a minute. The color on the TV is perfect. I just wish I could get rid of the blue. This happened right after changing the lamp, but I was told that they were not related. Can anyone google better than me?

Panasonic is a more reliable brand than the Sony. I had one of the first Sony 34″ CRT HDTV in the market and paid $ 6,400 for it and it only lasted 2 years, same goes for the DVD players from Sony model 7000 and 7700. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on tvs, along with the pro and con of each technology. You will notice that there are more Panasonic Plasma tv being recommend than from any manufacturer weather it is a an LCD or LED. Hope this will help you out.

Q&A: How to work a Wii bought in the UK on a Panasonic HD Tv bought in the US?

Question by : How to work a Wii bought in the UK on a Panasonic HD Tv bought in the US?
My cousin recently took a trip to London and bought one of the new Wii Consoles… It’s black so I’m guessing it’s new. We live in Barbados, so when she plugged it into her Panasonic HD Tv, its telling here something about configuration not made. Obviously she had no idea that UK products don’t work with US made products… Is there anything she can do?

Best answer:

Answer by SCOTT R
US TV’S are NTSC and UK is PAL. It wont work. the difference is the way the picture is scanned on the screen. US tv scan across and when it gets to the right side it turns off and goes to the left side next row down. PAL scans across to the right, but when reaches the right it inverts the signal 180 degrees and scans to left and repeats the inversion. PAL does have a better picture.

Only want to spend upto £500, been to Comet so far seen an Samsung LE40B530P7WXXU but review say poor sound quality, I ‘ve never had a samsung only had an Panasonic LCD in the past.
Can anyone help?

Best answer:

Answer by Texperson
All HD tvs have poor sound quality, so your best bet is to hook any one you get to an external sound system. Even a small, stereo bookshelf system will sound much better.

As for the LCD tvs. Samsung would be the best with Sony second best. The others are not as good pic quality.
