Question by Citizen snips: Samsung 32 inch 1080p TV picture settings for gaming?
Is there a guide that can help set my tv up for gaming, I am using a HDMI cable to if that changes anything.

Best answer:

Answer by ET
Not knowing your model……this might be a quick fix.
My Samsung has a “E.MODE” button on the remote. If yours has one, press it till “Game Mode” comes up. If that doesn’t work, go to Samsung’s website & download the user manual for your model.

Good Luck!

Is a used Samsung 40′ 1080p 120Hz LCD worth buying?

Question by Joel G: Is a used Samsung 40′ 1080p 120Hz LCD worth buying?
My friend wants to sell me his 40′ 1080p 120 Hz Samsung television for $ 600 bucks. I don’t have enough money straight up to buy a new one so he would let me pay $ 300 now and the rest in payments over the next few months. He wants to upgrade to 3D. Although he bought it almost two years ago the television is in perfect condition and even has two years left on the warranty. Is this a good buy for me??

Best answer:

Answer by Sanita
1) I would go with a good quality mount that is sturdy enough to keep a tv, simple to install and cheap. I would recommend getting the cheetah mount. It fits your 40″ samsung lcd tv, it’s a good quality mount, really CHEAP and it also tilts!

You can find out more about the mount here http://www.satellitesoftcom.com/cheetah-mounts-aptmmb-tilt-wall-mount-for-32-55inch-plasma-and-lcd-displays

2)You’ll want to learn also some important steps prior mounting your bracket to the wall -how high of the ground your tv should be, how to find studs to mount your tv on to, how to hide cables…etc

You can do all that but make sure you have a friend to help you. That tv is HEAVY!

Search the wall mounting tv tips here http://www.satellitesoftcom.com/category/wall-mounting-tv-tips

Hope the information will be useful to you. Good luck with the mounting!

Q&A: Why is my Samsung LCD 40 inch tv herky-jerky?

Question by : Why is my Samsung LCD 40 inch tv herky-jerky?
I bought a Samsung 40 inch LCD tv at the store and the picture there looked terrific. At home, some of the shows have a herky-jerky motion when the characters walk or turn their heads. And it seems like the camera pans awkwardly. I watched tv for about 15 minutes and felt a little motion sick. Unfortunately I bought the tv at Ultimate Electronics, which is going out of business. Is there anything I can do about the tv, like send it back to Samsung? And has anyone else had this problem with the same tv or a different tv?

Best answer:

Turn the auto motion off.
